Syrian mother, child pulled out of rubble, 44 hours after earthquake

Search teams in the Turkish state of Hatay managed to rescue a Syrian mother and her child from under the rubble of a collapsed building 44 hours after the earthquake.

Anadolu Agency correspondent stated, at dawn today, Wednesday, that the teams were able to rescue a Syrian woman and her two-year-old daughter from under the rubble of the building in Iskenderun district, Hatay state, southern Turkey, reports Al-Rai daily.

The mother and daughter were taken to the hospital, while the teams continued the search and rescue efforts.
