On behalf of the people, Government and Embassy of Switzerland to the State of Kuwait, I would like to extend my sincere congratulations to His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Amir of the State of Kuwait, to the Crown Prince, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, to the Government and the friendly people of Kuwait on the occasion of Kuwait’s 62nd anniversary of Independence and 32nd anniversary of Liberation Day.
I am proud that the friendly people-to-people relations between our two countries date back to the 1930s. Since 1966, a Swiss ambassador has been accredited here and we are constantly working together to make our ties richer and stronger. On these important anniversaries, I wish in particular peace and prosperity to everyone who lives in the State of Kuwait.
