The Farwaniya Investigation Department, West Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh office, closed the case file of a suspect who escaped after running over a Kuwaiti girl. According to Al-Anbaa’s report, the suspect was afraid of the reaction of the victim’s family, stressing that he did not know the child or her family, and that it was an accident as the child suddenly ran in front of the vehicle and he lost control of it.
The Farwaniya officers received instructions to quickly retrieve the trampled child and bring the victim to justice, so that a search force could track the perpetrator. Retrieval efforts culminated in less than 24 hours and the victim was referred to the medical specialist, while her condition was described as unstable.
