Submarine cable damage slows down Internet service in Kuwait

The Communications and Information Technology Commission reported that the international submarine cable Falcon of the GCX company was cut outside the Kuwaiti territorial waters, which led to a disruption in some international circuits working on the cable and used by companies, providers and Internet service providers, which led to the weakness of Internet services in the country.

Sources added that follow-up with the international cable company GCX is underway to find out what actions are being taken by the company to repair the parts and the time required to complete these procedures, reports Al-Rai daily.
