A scientific study indicated the importance of consuming carrot juice and its role in lowering blood pressure. The study, published in the British newspaper ‘Express’, said regular consumption of carrot juice can lower blood pressure in a person who suffers from high blood pressure problems.

The article’s author, Harriet Whitehead, wrote, “The analysis shows that it lowers both systolic and diastolic blood pressure.” The article presents research data that carrot consumption is associated with lower blood pressure, collected from 2,195 people who participated in the trial, reports Al-Rai daily.

According to Whitehead, carrot juice counteracts the effect of salt on the body, which often causes high blood pressure. Additionally, he advised to stop smoking and reduce the amount of coffee consumed to solve stress problems.
