Italian ambassador to Kuwait H.E. Giuseppe Scognamiglio held a grand reception at the Symphony Style Hotel last week to celebrate his country’s National Day.
A large gathering of Italian nationals, diplomats, businessmen, and local dignitaries attended the celebrations where traditional Italian cuisine was served.
Speaking on the occasion Ambassador Scognamiglio also announced his end of tenure in Kuwait and reiterated the warm and friendly ties existing between the two nations that were further strengthened during his tenure.
He praised the wise Kuwaiti leadership and the role Kuwait played in the region for peace and stability. He also expressed his gratitude for all the support he received during his tenure here.
Deputy Foreign Minister Khaled Al Jarallah in his remarks to the media praised the strong and friendly ties between the two countries, and pointed at the large number of Kuwaiti visitors to Italy especially during the summer months.
