St. Thomas Evangelical Church of India, Kuwait parish gave a Farewell to Mrs. & Mr. Thomas John M. & Mrs. & Mr. Abraham Mathew who are leaving Kuwait for good. The two families have been in Kuwait for over 40 and 20 years respectively. Both the families were involved in various activities of the church and were truly a rare asset. The blessed meeting was held at the NECK South Tent and was presided over by Rev. N. M. James (Parish Vicar). Mr. Rexy Cherian (Secretary) welcomed the gathering. A memento was presented to both the families for their uncommendable services rendered to the church.
Mr. Thomas K. Thomas (Lay Leader), Mrs. Susan Roy (Sevini Samajam Secretary), Mr. Jacob P. Varghese (Youth Union Secretary), Mrs. Silvy Kuruvila (Sunday School Asst. HM), Mr. Jesby George Jees, Mr. Nathan Cherian George, Mr. Sijumon Abraham (Parish Choir), Mr. Aby Eapen (Accountant) and Mr. Reju Daniel John (Prathinidhi Sabha Member) gave felicitation speeches during the meeting.
In their reply speeches, they expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the love, support and prayers offered by the STECI Kuwait Parish Members. Mr. Kuruvila Cherian (Treasurer) gave the thanking note. The meeting was concluded with the prayer by Mr. Jacob P. J. and P. S. John and benediction by Rev. N. M. James.
