The Ministry of Health has called on citizens and residents, especially those with chronic respiratory diseases (such as asthma), to exercise caution, stay at home as much as possible, and avoid exposure to rain, coinciding with the weather instability the country is currently going through, reports Al-Rai daily.

The official spokesman for the ministry, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, said in a press statement, Sunday, that rain may be one of the irritants of asthma, pointing to the need to exercise caution on the roads, and to ensure the availability of the necessary treatments to deal with diseases associated with changing weather, such as bronchodilators for asthma patients, reports Al-Rai daily quoting KUNA.

Al-Sanad stressed the need to go to the nearest health center in the event of failure to respond to treatment, indicating that health facilities continue to provide health care services, and when needed, one can call the emergency number 112 to request assistance.
