A decision to restart sports activities in the country is contingent upon the consent of health authorities, said a sports official Saturday.
This position reflects compliance with relevant precautions and measures taken by the State to rein in the novel coronavirus (Covid-19), Member of the Kuwait Football Association (KFA) and Deputy Chairman of the Competitions Committee Salem Saadoun said in a press statement.
“Should the sports activity of the current season (2019-2020) resume, then there will be five substitutions in football matches,” the official said.
This moves comes in line with the recent provisional change decided by International Football Association Board, Saadoun remarked.
The Kuwaiti cabinet had decided a country-wide complete curfew from May 10 to May 30 in a bid to curb the spread of the highly contagious virus.
