He also mentioned that more than 300 Kuwaitis applied for visas after the approval of the “Cascade” system for Kuwaitis, which allows them to benefit from the “Schengen” visa Quintet multi-travel.
Aguilar further elaborated that to obtain a visa for a period of 5 years, the passport must be valid for more than 5 years, and the applicant must be a resident of Kuwait. Diplomatic sources also confirmed that one of the requirements for obtaining a long-term five-year Schengen visa, which has been approved for Kuwaitis, is to apply for it within the embassies of the Schengen countries in Kuwait. Individuals residing outside of Kuwait are not eligible under these conditions.
