The Solidarity Society for Prisoners’ Care held its seventeenth regular general assembly meeting where the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Musaed Mandani, presented the financial and administrative report for fiscal 2021, the presentation of the estimated budget for 2022, and the approval of the Al-Kut Center for financial auditing.
A local Arabic daily quoting Mandan, who was speaking on the sidelines of the meeting said, the society provided various types of assistance during the past year worth 2.4 million dinars, which came in the form 1.55 million dinars assistance to 1,602 debtors during 2021; assistance to 1,452 prisoners’ families worth 316,000 dinars, in addition to the society’s spending of 97,000 dinars on various charity activities and projects.
He referred to the launch of the Ramadan campaign from the beginning of this March until the end of May, and thanked the benefactors for their support for the campaigns who are known to donate generously.
