The Cooperatives Sector at Ministry of Social Affairs is in the process of officially addressing the President of the Municipal Council, about its proposal on reorganization of “booths” and “kiosks” for owners of small and medium enterprises within central markets and cooperative societies.
A local Arabic daily quoting the ministry suggested that “booths” and “kiosks” be placed in one place within the cooperatives areas, and reorganizing them so that they can bring maximum benefit for the owners, while at the same time not affecting the work of the cooperatives in any manner, especially in light of the complaints submitted by some of them about their lack of organization.
The Municipal Council has reportedly agreed to the Ministry’s proposal. However, a joint meeting will be held to discuss all matters in this regard.
