The Charity Societies and Charitable Associations Department in the Ministry of Affairs organized a workshop to train those in charge of the central aid system for charity associations, in the presence of the Assistant Undersecretary for Social Development Salem Al-Rashidi and Director of the Charitable Societies and Charitable Associations Department Abdulaziz Al-Ajmi.
Al-Rashidi announced during the workshop, which was attended by representatives of charities, that it aims to train those in charge of the “automation” program for work of charities, to facilitate the ministry in the areas of data entry, projects, contact numbers and inquiries, support and all forms of dealing between Social Affairs and charities, reports a local Arabic daily.
He added that training on the system is the first step, and there will be some notes and suggestions that will be modified and added through technical support.
He revealed that the program will be ready for implementation this October, with a one-year validity to receive suggestions and develop the program, calling on associations to rush data entry to facilitate work and speed up the completion of transactions.
