Social Affairs Ministry receives grievances from disgruntled employees

At a time when the Legal Affairs Sector of the Ministry of Social Affairs began receiving grievances regarding the non-disbursement of excellent work rewards for the current fiscal year, through the automated service “Q Barcode”, the ministry has received about 70 grievances since the announcement by the Acting Undersecretary Abdulaziz Sari, on April 19.

The daily learned that the ministry is facing a deficit in the budget allocated for the disbursement of bonuses, especially since the allocated amount of 1.5 million dinars is hardly sufficient to cover specific numbers, and there are even some employees who were not included despite their entitlement, reports Al-Jarida daily.

According to the sources the ministry is in the process of making a financial transfer to cover grieving employees who have proved that they were entitled for a reward, especially since the grievances are likely to increase in the coming period as many will try to beat the 60 days deadline from the date of disbursement and deposit of amounts in the bank accounts of the beneficiaries.

The sources explained the ministry is looking into the grievances and filtering them and excluding those who do not have an annual assessment.
