Firefighters extinguished a fire that broke out in wood and carpentry stores in the Shuwaikh Industrial Area.
The Al-Rai daily said after a report was received by the Central Operations Room at dawn today, stating that a fire had broken out in a number of stores used as carpentry shops in the Shuwaikh Industrial Area, five fire brigades went to the site of the accident, and put out fire to four shops selling wood. Firefighters immediately began fighting and extinguishing the fire without causing any significant injuries.
The Public Relations and Media Department of the General Fire Force called on the owners and tenants of factories, industrial plots, and commercial and investment buildings to implement safety and fire prevention requirements in order to achieve community security.
