The Ministry of Public Works attributed the decrease in the number of employees in the Inspection and Audit Office to many reasons, including retirement and resignation of a number of office employees after reaching the legal retirement age.
The ministry said one of the main reasons for the shortage of staff is that many employees submit requests for transfer, whether inside or outside the ministry, in search of material advantages that are not available in the office, while at the same time pointing out that the inspection office requires specialized staff with experience and competence.
