Bearing in mind that Kuwait this year is celebrating its 61st Anniversary of independence and 31st Anniversary of Liberation Day, I would like to take this opportunity, on this auspicious occasion, to extend to the leadership of the State of Kuwait and its friendly people on behalf of the Embassy of Republic of Serbia, sincere felicitations and best wishes for a peaceful and prosperous future under wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Amir of the State of Kuwait.
As well, I express my sincere appreciation and special congratulations to Kuwait being a humanitarian world hub. People of Kuwait can be proud of their country’s generosity, and its friends, which happily include Serbian people too, who are sharing those feelings and happiness on the foundation of friendship and continuous strongly growing relationship.
It is with great pleasure that I can note that bilateral relations between the Republic of Serbia and the State of Kuwait are friendly and good in many fields, with deep mutual respects, understanding and traditional long lasting friendship established since the independence of Kuwait. During the October 2021 visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs H.E. Sheikh Dr Ahmed Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Sabah to Belgrade the mutual willingness for the all-round promotion was affirmed in the high level talks with the Serbian President, Prime minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The State of Kuwait will always have a sincere friend and reliable partner in the Republic of Serbia. I am convinced that, working together, we will make the overall relations and cooperation even better and more meaningful, to the mutual satisfaction and benefit.
