The Residence Investigation officers have arrested 282 residence violators during security campaigns in Khaitan, Hawalli, Al-Dhajeej, Kabd, Brayeh Salem, Al-Salihiyah, Mahboula, Fahaheel, and Farwaniya markets.
Furthermore, a statement issued by the department elaborated on the proactive measures taken by the criminal security sector to enforce the law, enhance security presence, and apprehend criminals, particularly drug traffickers.
The Directorate-General for Drugs Control have arrested 20 people and seized from them approximately 13 kilograms of various narcotics (shabu, hashish, chemicals, marijuana, cocaine), 29,100 pills of assorted psychotropic substances (Lyrica, Captagon, Xenex, Metadol), and undisclosed sums of money from drug sales and ammunition from one of the arrested person, reports Al-Rai daily.
The statement emphasized the relentless efforts of security personnel across all sectors in combating drug dealers and thwarting smuggling techniques. It urged the public to collaborate with security forces by reporting any suspicious activities through the emergency phone (112) and the General Administration for Drug Control hotline (1884141).
