US Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs David Schenker said that the US-Kuwaiti strategic dialogue will take place next October. Schenker added in a remote press conference that a delegation from the White House will visit the region next week.
He affirmed that there is no pressure on Kuwait to normalize relations with Israel, and added, “The Gulf states are independent and have the freedom of decision-making and have different stances towards normalization of ties with Israel.”
