Saylaneese Helping Hands Kuwait, A well Known Community Organization in Kuwait, organized its 2nd Annual Blood Donation Drive on Friday, 19th February 2021 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Kuwait Central Blood Bank Jabriya, in commemoration of the Independence Day of Sri Lanka and the National Day of Kuwait, according to the SOPs of MOH in the situation of Covid19 in the country.
A large turnout of its members & associates turned up with enthusiasm honoring the occasion. Well-known Srilankan Nationals & other from different communities visited the camp and appreciated the well-disciplined and successful drive. For the support, H.E. U L Mohammed Jauhar, Ambassador of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka also attended.
The President of the Saylaneese Helping Hand, Mr. Shihabudeen Mohamed Aroos & its adviser Dr. Mohamed Nawras(Family Medicine Specialist-Dhaman) briefed on different stages the donated blood goes through, how it is preserved and how a bottle of donated blood can save up to 3 lives. They also commended and appreciated the efforts of reaching to masses with a great message and achieving a large turnout for such a great cause in the very difficult situation of Covid19.
They stated “We are delighted to see such a well-organized, disciplined and successful blood donation camp by Saylaneese Helping Hands Kuwait.
