Saudi Ministry of Health on Sunday confirmed 40 deaths and 4,233 cases of COVID-19.
The latest figures bring the kingdom’s total number of fatalities and infections with the deadly virus to 972 and 127,541 respectively, the ministry said in a press statement.
A total of 2,172 more patients were cured of the respiratory illness over the past 24 hours, raising the overall count of recoveries to 84,720, it added.
