Saudi Arabia announced on Monday its death toll from the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) climbed to 144 and toll of infections reached 18,811.
Spokesperson of the ministry of health Dr. Mohammad Al-Abdulali said in a daily briefing that fatalities reached 144 after recording four new cases.
The infections totaled 18,811 after registering 1,289 new cases, he said, adding that recoveries amounted to 2,531 with 174 new ones.
Moreover, there are 117 patients receiving intensive medical care, he said further.
