Round the clock security at Mental hospital

The Kuwait Medical Association has thanked the ministries of Health and the Interior for the rapid response to its requests to provide security at the Kuwait Center for Mental Health around the clock.

The association confirmed, on its Twitter account its full commitment to strive to preserve the rights of doctors in all health facilities.

Following attacks on its personnel, including doctors and nurses, the center had no option but to seek help from the security authorities, says the President of the Kuwait Medical Association, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Tawala.

It is worth noting Dr. Al-Tawala had called for security protection, throughout the day, especially at the Kuwait Center for Mental Health, pointing out that the security point at the center operates from seven in the morning until two in the afternoon, which is the time for the outpatient clinics operate to ensure there are no problems or attacks on doctors or medical staff.
