On behalf of the Romanian Government and the Romanian people, it is my special honor to offer my sincere congratulations to the Government of the State of Kuwait and the Kuwaiti people, on the occasion of the 61st anniversary of Independence and the 31st anniversary of the Liberation Day of your country. I am proud that Romania’s participation in the Desert Storm operation and the following logistical and political initiatives contributed to the progress and success of the State of Kuwait.
I would also like to underline our desire to further develop our special relation, based on shared respect for the rules-based international order. In this regard, I would like to emphasize the constant efforts directed by the State of Kuwait towards developing and maintaining peace and security in the region.
Romania fully supports the endeavors of the Kuwaiti Government with which we are working hand in hand, including in our capacities as a member of the European Union and NATO ally, to ensure a stable and prosperous international environment, suitable for the continuous development of our peoples and countries.
