Health officials are worried at the rise in admission of children infected with the Coronavirus at the Jaber Hospital as compared to the previous months, Arabic daily Al Qabas reported. The hospital is witnessing between 5 to 8 children everyday and are concerned with the sudden increase of infections in children.
The daily noted that the medical centers, clinics and laboratories in the private medical sector have started receiving patients who wish to obtain health care in those facilities during the partial curfew period, indicating that the ministry aims to overcome the obstacles facing citizens and residents regarding medical services.
The daily also confirmed that the vaccination centers, will operate from Saturday to Thursday every week, in order to increase the anti-“Covid-19” vaccination campaign.
The paper pointed out that the Ministry was working to accelerate the pace of vaccinations and was coordinating with vaccine manufacturers, to ensure that quantities arrive regularly without any interruptions, noting that more than 462,000 citizens and residents have been vaccinated so far, which was about 11 percent of the population.
