The residency affairs departments in all governorates will, from today receive requests for family visit visas, after a closure of more than two years.
A local Arabic daily said, the issuance of visas was stopped following the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic. The sources reported earlier limited family visas were issued including commercial visit and tourist visas.
However, with the recent decisions of the Council of Ministers before the Eid al-Fitr to cancel all restrictions related to Corona, the residence affairs departments have decided to receive requests for family visit visas.
The sources indicated the conditions for granting visas continue in terms of nationality, salary ceiling, security checks, and others.
