This week on February 4, ‘The Guest Show’ on Radio Kuwait International English Station presents – Clethe Gubler, the wife of Dr. Benedict Gubler, Ambassador of Switzerland in Kuwait.
Clethe is a former government lawyer from Brazil, she left a successful career to embrace her life as the wife of a Swiss diplomat. And all the time, she has tried to put her hard-earned skills to good use. During her time in Strausburg, Clethe wrote her first book ‘The Andromeda Council’ in which she speaks of her life as the wife of a diplomat.
She speaks of everyday life outside the official ceremonies and delegations and in the process tries to break stereotypes. In 2018, Clethe was chosen President of the International Women’s Group, a forum for women mostly drawn from the diplomatic circle.
In The Guest Show, Clethe speaks of her beginnings, of her life as a Swiss, and her time of learning and growing in Kuwait.
