Addressing the labor market imbalance would require a greater emphasis on the quality of recruited labor, rather than hiring in quantity to cover up for inadequate quality, said the Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Planning and Development, Dr. Khalid Mahdi.
He stressed that untrained workers should no more be allowed to find their way to the labor market in Kuwait, and that recruitment should be limited to qualified, quality workers.
