On behalf of the Government and People of the Republic Poland and on my behalf, I have honor to convey to His Highness Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah and the people of Kuwait best wishes of prosperity and success on the occasions of the 60th anniversary of National Day and 30th anniversary of Liberation Day of the State of Kuwait.
On this notable occasion, I would like to assure that Poland’s desire is to strengthen cooperation between our countries. Once again we express our appreciation for the mediation efforts of Kuwait contributing to stability and security in the region.
Kuwait is a regional leader in negotiations and peaceful resolutions of arms conflicts. Kuwait’s role and standing is an example, a pattern to other countries, on how to resolve diplomatic issues between nations. Since the establishment of the relationship between Poland and Kuwait in 1963, our countries have had friendly relations. The Republic of Poland and the State of Kuwait share the same principles in regard to sovereignty, self-governance and independence.
Once again on this occasion, I would like to extend appreciation of the Kuwaiti efforts in tackling the COVID -19 pandemic, and wish the people of Kuwait peaceful, harmonious and healthful celebrations of Independence and Liberation Days.
