Philippines to resume sending domestic workers to Kuwait

The Labor attaché at the Philippine Embassy Nasser Mustafa issued a circular to the domestic labor recruitment offices in the country regarding the reopening of the recruitment of Filipino household workers in Kuwait, Al Qabas reported.

Mustafa informed about the decision of Philippine Labor Minister Silvestre Bello III, to resume the recruitment of domestic workers in Kuwait.

The recruitment would be in 3 stages. On April 19, clearance certificates will be issued. On April 21, the Philippine Labor Office for Employment Abroad will receive requests for re-approval of applications from offices. On April 25, applications and contracts for the employment of individual domestic workers would be received.
