Philippine Political Attaché ends his tour of duty in Kuwait to return to the Philippines

Political Attaché of the Philippine Embassy Charlie Dizon, finished his tour of duty and returns home to assume a new post at the Consular Section of the Department of Foreign Affairs in the Philippines.

Dizon joined the diplomatic service in 1986  and later assigned in two previous posts in Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates prior to Kuwait as Political Attaché and personal assistant of the former Ambassador and current Charges D’ Affairs Mohammad Nordin Lomondot. CDA Lomondot and some officers of the Philippines Embassy and Philippine Overseas Labor Office and Overseas Workers Welfare Administration bid farewell to Dizon at Kuwait Terminal Four.

Officials from the Protocol Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and office of His Highness the Amir were present during his departure yesterday afternoon. Dizon has helped to establish close ties between the Philippines and Kuwait during his tour of duty.

Dizon travelled via Kuwait Airways Chartered flight to the Philippines with 300 over Overseas Filipino Workers who have decided to return home for good. Friends and colleagues wished him the best on his next post.
