On Monday, doctors at Albert Einstein Hospital announced that the health of Brazilian football legend Pele was improving, after he was admitted to the hospital to receive treatment for a respiratory infection that was exacerbated by infection with the Corona virus.
Pele has been in the hospital in Sao Paulo since November 29, and doctors say they do not yet know when he will be able to leave hospital.
Pele, the 82-year-old who won the FIFA World Cup 3 times with his country, is also battling colon cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy.
