PCR test from 15 countries linked to MUNA

Directorate General of Civil Aviation issued a circular stating that 15 countries have been linked with the MUNA system. The system specializes in auditing laboratories outside Kuwait and ensuring the reliability of the PCR certificates issued to ensure that there is no tampering or forgery, Al-Rai reported.

15 countries have been accredited as a first stage. The list of the first countries included the following: India, the Philippines, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, the Emirates, Turkey, Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, the United Kingdom, France, America.

In the first stage, PCR test certificates from 8 countries are inked to MUNA. The list includes India, the Philippines, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bahrain, UAE, and Turkey.

The status of Muna is active in India, the Philippines, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal.

The circular will be effective from March 25 for Turkey, UAE and Bahrain.

The circular stated that passengers coming to Kuwait from the above-mentioned countries would be accepted only if they have a negative PCR certificate. The certificate should be valid for 72 hours after the swab test and the passenger should not exhibit any symptoms such as Sneezing, sneezing, high temperature, coughing, etc.

The PCR certificate should be issued by one of the laboratories accredited by the MUNA program and should be mentioned in the Kuwait Musafer platform.
