Pathanamthitta District Friendship Forum (PDFF), formed with the aim of building bridges of friendship between residents of Kuwait and ex-Kuwait residents hailing from different places of the District, under one broad umbrella of friendship fraternity with the motto of “Friendship Forever”, was inaugurated on Friday May 19 by lighting the traditional lamp and proclaiming the noble ideals and thoughts of humanism and enlightenment, in a glittering and colorful function held at the Aspire Mini Hall of Aspire Indian International School, Abbassiya, in the presence of a pleasant, supporting and appreciative crowd consisting of only the Group members and their families.
The Event was presided over by its Founder and Chief Group Organizer and a senior native of Makkamkunnu in Pathanamthitta Town, Oommen George (Jose Mannil).  The inauguration rite was performed by PDFF Senior Group Organizer, prominent Industrialist in Kuwait and a leading social luminary in Kuwait and Kerala, K. Jayakumar.
The Welcome Speech was rendered by PDFF Senior Group Organizer and well-known philanthropist, social and cultural personality in Kuwait, Raju Daniel Tharayil.  Murali Panicker, PDFF Chief Event Coordinator & Senior Group Organizer, a leading Social Activist and a prominent leader of Blood donating group that serves Kuwait and India. PDFF Logo release was also performed along with the inauguration ceremony.
The function began with the prayer song recited by Kumari Salini.  Kuwait’s leading businessman and Senior PDFF Member,. K. S. Varghese, and well-known social personalities Chessil Cherian Ramapuram (friend and well-wisher of PDFF), and Shri. Kadavil Thomas Mathew (Director of Migrants International), PDFF Group leaders, Susan Cherian and Jacob Thomas rendered felicitation speeches.
The function presented opportunities for self-introduction of members and discussions on Group’s objectives and activity programs and related issues, under the direction and coordination of PDFF Group leaders Raju Daniel Tharayil and Subin Thomas John and Vinu Kallalil, and Murali Panicker respectively.
PDFF Group leader Kalaivani Santhosh, and Nishi Raju, a young and rising cultural Star performed the compering role exquisitely and the Group leaders with long and creditable record in social, cultural and humanitarian services, Vinu Kallalil, Cherian Peringadu, M.J. George Chenneerkara, Manoj Maveli, Subin Thomas John, Jacob Thomas, Renjit R. Nair (Program Coordinator),. Shibu Varghese Othara, and Binu Mathew, were the chief architects of organizing and orchestrating the successful launch of Pathanamthitta District Friendship Forum (PDFF) in Kuwait’s social domain.
