The Public Authority for Manpower has summoned the owner of an unidentified company for interrogation after a video clip went vital showing some cleaning company workers demonstrating at the company’s headquarters in Mahboula to demand their salaries.
The sources said, “The video circulated in the social media, shows a number of workers gathering in front of one of the buildings in the Mahboula area,” reports Al-Seyassah daily
The sources added Labor Relations Department inspectors went to the site of the incident and learned the incident did not happen Saturday, but the clip was posted yesterday.
However, the source explained PAM summoned the owner of the company to review the company’s file, pointing out that the company had no problems earlier, but the authority will examine the demands of the workers, whether they are outstanding salaries or other demands.
