PAM determined to ‘eradicate’ fake doctors, clinics

The Public Authority for Manpower Monday raided a clinic that was operating without a license and referred 16 workers to the Residence Affairs Investigation Department because some of the ‘unqualified’ employees were practicing medicine without a license

This came in response to what Al-Qabas published in its issue of January 9, 2022, about “clinics run by fake doctors’.

The Deputy Director-General of the Public Authority for Manpower and Chairman of the Joint Committee of the Council of Ministers Mubarak Al-Jafour said all those arrested have been referred to the concerned authority for legal action.

He has appealed to clinic owners to comply with the laws and fulfilling all health requirements and ensure they have the necessary licenses for practicing the professions.

It is noteworthy that the joint committee of the Council of Ministers represented by the Public Authority for Manpower, Residency Affairs, and the ministries of Health and Commerce and industry are intensifying campaigns targeting private clinics in the country to ensure they and the workers comply with the rules and regulations governing medical clinics and supporting professions.
