PAM details flexible working hours starting October 1

The Public Authority for Manpower announced the official flexible working hours starting October 1, 2023, as follows, reports Al-Rai daily.

1- Official working hours at the Public Authority for Manpower are set for the morning period from Sunday to Thursday of each week at a rate of 7 working hours per day
2 – Working hours for the morning period begin from 7 to 9 in the morning, and the employee has the right to prove his attendance at work at any time during it, and proof of leaving work after completing 7 working hours depends on the attendance time.
3 – The employee is allowed to prove attendance within 30 minutes of the last specified time for the start of work, after which the minutes of late attendance are calculated starting from the first minute after 9.30 in the morning.
4 – The employee who was blocked at the time specified for the start of work without benefiting from the grace period is allowed to leave 30 minutes before the time specified for the end of work, and it is not permitted to divide the grace period between attendance and departure.
5 – Female employees are allowed to leave work before the specified time for the end of the work day, based on fingerprintproof of attendance on a daily basis, for a period of 15 minutes – in addition to 30 minutes for the employee who did not benefit from the legally prescribed grace period at the beginning of the work day.
6 – The delay minutes begin to be counted at the end of the workday early dismissal if the employee leaves before completing the legally prescribed number of daily working hours.
7 – The official morning work periods for employees who receive a reduction in working hours for any of the legally prescribed reasons, or who obtain a permission for partial absence without pay, are determined at a rate of 7 hours per day from Sunday to Thursday of each week, as follows:
From 7 in the morning until 2 in the afternoon
From 7:30 in the morning until 2:30 in the afternoon
From 8 in the morning until 3 in the afternoon
From 8:30 in the morning until 3:30 in the afternoon
8 – Employees who have received a reduction in working hours or who have obtained a permission for partial absence without pay may report to work during any of the dates specified in Article No. 7 of this circular, provided that one of the periods is chosen through a request submitted to the Human Resources Department before the beginning of the month. in advance, provided that in this case the employee adheres to one of the specified departure dates according to the chosen attendance time.
9 – The official working hours for the evening period at the Authority are set at 7 working hours per day from Sunday to Thursday of each week, starting at 3:30 in the afternoon and ending at 10:30 in the evening. Employees are allowed to prove their attendance within 30 minutes of the time specified for the start of work, after which the minutes of delay are calculated.
10- Employees who obtain a permission for partial absence without pay are allowed to prove their attendance within 30 minutes of the time specified for the start of their shift, after which minutes of lateness are calculated.
11 – The shift system in force at the Authority will continue to be implemented, and the rules, regulations and provisions contained in Civil Service Council Resolution No. 41 of 2006 and its amendments will continue to be implemented in matters not provided for in this circular.
