The President of Pakistan, Dr Arif Alvi today visited Kuwait to extend heartfelt sympathies over the sad demise of late Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah with the new Amir of Kuwait His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
During the meeting, he underlined that Pakistan’s thoughts and prayers are with the Al-Sabah family and brotherly people of Kuwait.
He also highlighted that Pakistan has lost a close and trusted friend. The late Amir’s contribution to Pakistan-Kuwait friendship and his efforts for regional peace and stability would always be remembered.
The two leaders agreed to enhance bilateral relations in all spheres between the two countries.
