PACI launches civil id delivery service for KD2

As part of its efforts to develop its electronic services and to streamline its facilities, Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) launched a delivery service for civil id cards for citizens and expats to receive their civil ids easily without having to visit any of PACI departments, the Director General of the Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI), Musaed Al-Asousi, said to Al Qabas daily.

He added this will help to reduce crowding and preserve the effort and time of staff, in addition to maintaining social distancing to ensure their health and safety, limiting the possible spread of the coronavirus infection.

Al-Asousi revealed that the authority has launched a contract with one of the leading companies in the delivery sector. The fee for delivering one civil id card is two dinars, and an additional quarter dinar is added for each additional card for people with the same address.

The service can be requested by visiting the civil id card delivery website (https: //delivery.paci. gov.kw), which also allows tracking of the civil Id card delivery. Al-Asousi said that ready-made civil ids will be delivered within two working days from the date they are turned over to the company.

The authority is keen to ensure the civil ids are delivered in a safe and private manner, and to that effect they are delivered in a sealed envelope with the authority’s logo on it, Al-Asousi stressed. In the event that the old civil id is not available, the person concerned must provide the representative of the delivery company with the necessary documents to receive the new civil id card.
