PACI changes procedures to determine commission percentage

The Public Authority for Civil Information has changed its procedures for determining the percentage of profits it must acquire from the company winning the contract to deliver Civil ID to the homes of the recipients.

The authority said bidding for the contract to distribute cards will close on the 23rd of this month. The brochure containing the specifications, of which Al-Qabas obtained a copy, said the highest bidder will win the contract.

“The highest bid with a cut-off value of the delivery service fees, which is specified at two dinars” in favor of the authority, and the first contract was to determine the percentage of the commission at 650 fils for each ID card,” said the sources.
