The regulatory authorities gave a nod to the Public Authority for Civil Information for its purchase of smart cards with a total value of KD 4.19 million for 1.87 million cards, as it issued a change order on the practice of purchasing smart civil card forms and card packaging requirements, an Arab daily reported. It was also revealed that the details are related to the purchase of one million models of smart cards at an amount of KD 2.23 million, and 875,000 models for a total cost of KD 1.95 million.
