The owners of the shops devoured by the fire in downtown Mubarakiya, have been summoned by the Salhiya Police Station, to identify and receive their valuables including safes which were removed from the market to prevent these safes being stolen by vested interests.
A local Arabic daily said the safes were moved from the destroyed market as a precautionary measure.
