Over 21,300 new coronavirus cases and 1,086 deaths were reported in the US on Saturday, according to Johns Hopkins University.
The tally showed that the confirmed coronavirus cases nationwide reached 1,622,612 and 97,087 deaths.
Meanwhile, North Carolina recorded Saturday it highest one-day increase of cases was reported in North Carolina Saturday as 1,107 l cases were reported, according to the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS). North Carolina’s confirmed cases reached 22,864.
Also, Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson said Saturday that the state is having “a second peak right now and they’re really about 30 days apart.”
