The Minister of Public Works and the Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, Dr. Amani Bouqmaz, is seeking to prepare and sign a cooperation protocol between the Ministry of Electricity and Water and the Public Authority for Housing Welfare, to coordinate the schedule for the delivery of power to the new residential cities, an Arab daily reported.
Bouqmaz discussed with officials the efforts of the ministry’s sectors in the works to provide the electrical and water requirements of residential cities. The source mentioned the most prominent obstacles in completing the sectors’ plans, while also noting the officials’ keenness to complete the project according to their timetables and without delay.
Moreover, the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy has coordinated with officials of the Public Corporation for Housing Welfare regarding the examination and operation of 20 secondary transfer stations in the southern Abdullah Al-Mubarak area, which are fed from one of the main substations.
