No tables in Mosque for iftar meals, individual meals to be distributed

The charitable project of the Ministry of Social Affairs for Ramadan has been approved and that the competent department is fully prepared to implement it per the health requirements, Al-Anbaa reported quoting Informed sources.

Regarding permitting charitable societies in mosques, the sources clarified to the daily that the health authorities have not approved iftar tables at mosques to break the fast in the evening. But have permitted to distribute individual meals for breaking the fast, taking into account the social distancing to prevent coronavirus infection.

The sources emphasized that donations are collected only through bank deduction, and automated payment methods (K-Net, online, electronic applications via phones, electronic collection devices approved by charities, and text messages of telecommunications companies).

The inspection teams will conduct field inspections throughout the holy month of all governorates and the headquarters and centers of charitable societies.
