No Hajj for those over 65 years old and above

The Hajj and Umrah Department of the Ministry of Awqaf has issued a circular to the organizers of the Hajj pilgrimage in Kuwaiti that includes health controls, the most important of which are the applicant must have received the vaccinations approved by the Saudi Ministry of Health, submitting a negative PCR test for Covid-19 taken within 72 hours of the date of travel to the Kingdom.

A local Arabic daily said, this is in addition to wearing a mask while performing the rituals in all closed and open places, getting the insurance policy to cover the costs of treatment from Corona infection during the pilgrims’ presence in the Kingdom. The circular also restricts the Hajj this year to those who are 65 years and below.
