No frost tonight, caution taken to protect crops: Al-Dammak

Farmer Faisal Al-Dammak said that no frost occurred during the past few hours, despite the temperatures dropping and explained that there has been no damage to the crops.

Al-Dammak mentioned that frost is normal, and caution was taken by covering the crops, and some resorting to agricultural heating, and cultivating varieties that bear low degrees of cold, reports Al-Anba daily.

The Met Department had stated that the weather in Kuwait will be cold to very cold at night, partly cloudy, with northwesterly to variable winds, light to moderate, with a speed of 10-35 km/h, with a chance of frost forming in agricultural and desert areas.
