The Kuwait Fire Force (KFF) Friday saved tens of people trapped inside a burning building in Jleeb Al-Shoyoukh without any casualties.
In a statement, KFF said that fire engines of Jleeb Al-Shoyoukh, Ardhiya, and technical rescue center rushed to the scene as fire erupted on third floor of a residential building. Tens of people were trapped before rescue arrived due to smoke plumes, noted the statement.
KFF teams used escalators and smoke-protective devices during the operation and were able to contain the fire without any significant injuries, while an investigation is currently underway to determine the causes of the blaze.
