The head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Jahra Hospital, Dr. Hanan Al-Husseini, recently revealed that a total of 15 surgical procedures were successfully conducted to eliminate gynecological tumors. These operations were carried out using the advanced technique of endoscopy, which utilizes modern technology.
During a workshop, Dr. Al-Husseini told Al-Anbaa that this development occurred alongside the presence of Dr. Martin Fruga, a visiting doctor from Britain who specializes in microlaparoscopic surgery. Fifteen gynecological operations were performed, which were classified as difficult cases. These cases included the removal of the uterus and fibrosis, as well as cases of endometriosis.
The department emphasizes its commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements and offering top-notch medical equipment in the fields of obstetrics and gynecology, especially as it is currently undergoing a significant transformation in its services.
