The General Administration of Nationality and Travel Documents has learned from informed sources in the nationality, passports and residence affairs sectors, that the Ministry of Interior will move the General Administration of Nationality and Travel Documents to its new building immediately after the Eid Al-Fitr holidays after the completion of the renovation work which lasted for five years.
The Director General of the General Department of Nationality and Travel Documents, Major General Sheikh Fawaz Al-Khaled, directed the department officials to start the process of transferring the department’s devices and equipment to its new location, and to start receiving citizens immediately so that the visitors’ transactions are not delayed.
On the other hand, the sources revealed the allocation of a new site for the section of Article 17 passports allocated to bedoun at the Al-Adan Service Center in Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate, pointing out that this section will complete all transactions related to the passports of this category of people, because the section currently is located in the General Administration building for nationality and passports, and cannot accommodate the large numbers of visitors.
